Representing active members of the Parramore Community, Richard Jason (RJ) Bock wants to make a difference in Parramore neighborhood through "example leadership."Bock announced the first annual Parramore Education and Health Street Festival to be held Saturday, February 28 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Dr. J.B. Callahan Neighborhood Center (corner of Parramore Ave. and Washington St.)
The goal is to establish an annual event that will provide positive and influential growth through caring people with ideal moral, ethic, and lawful values.
The festival will focus on several primary concerns:
* To celebrate the future of the community with a theme dedicated to the promise of hope
* To expose and educate the local citizens to opportunities that exist for a more promising future
* To strengthen the community together as a celebration of the future and of itself
* To promote the Parramore District with a positive image to the entire Orlando area
* To provide visions of hope for the local residents through the growth of the community
